一种人脸图像复合眼睛定位方法

【摘要】 结合中心/环绕Retinex滤波、Gabor变换和水平集方法的优点,提出了一种复合的人眼定位方法。首先对原始人脸图像做中心/环绕Retinex滤波处理,以消除光照不均造成的脸部阴影,然后对Retinex滤波处理后的图像做Gabor小波变换,并根据Gabor小波变换后的图像在眼睛区域有较大的幅值响应这一特点,利用水平集方法对眼睛区域进行分割,最后计算其中心点得到眼睛的准确定位。实验结果表明,该方法对姿态、表情及光照变化有良好的适应性,定位准确性较高.

【Abstract】 A compound method for eye location is proposed with the advantages of center surround Retinex,Gabor filter and Level Set method. Firstly,it used the Center Surround Retinex function to filter the face image so that to remove the shadow due to non-uniform illumination. Then the Retinex filter image is translated by Gabor wavelet.Level Set method is applied to segment the eye region taking advantage of the Gabor magnitude feature. Finally,the accurate position of eyes is located by calculating the center point. The results show that the proposed method is robust to variations of position,expression and illumination.
