【Abstract】 Gazing On Mount Tai, a masterpiece of classical poems eulogizing Mount Tai, is very worthy of promotion to the English-speaking world, in order to deepen the understanding and appreciation of English readers. Cultural Translation Theory, put forward by Susan Bassnett—a famous contemporary British translation theorist, goes beyond the narrow perspective, turning its mission to cultural exchanges and communication,which can be applied to the translation of this poem. This thesis will compare the two versions by Wu Juntao and Xu Yuanchong, three words with cultural connotation in particular, thus exploring the successful use of Cultural Translation Theory.更多还原
