【Abstract】 In the presented paper,a comparison is made concerning the concept and content of the living space standards between China and western countries to analyze the existing problems in formulating China’s current living space standards.Through comparing and investigating the living space per household in China and foreign countries,the author concludes that the living space of many housing types in China tends to be upsized.Incorporating the residential standards both at home and abroad,the author proposes a space standard for a compact living pattern.更多还原
