【Abstract】 Based on Belgian scholar Willem Derde’s article Heritage and its Cultural Boundaries: Challenging the Western Paradigm by Means of the Example of China, this paper rethinks the Western concern of examples of China heritage, against the background of heritage recognition. It seeks to clarif y misunderstandings and criticize improper intervention from inside. It also reflects on problems of the utilization of Chinese historical and cultural resources irrelevant to heritage conservation.更多还原
