【Abstract】 Firstly,this paper analyzes the existing definitions of multi-programme management,and then,obtains the characteristics of programme management and puts forward the new definition and classification. Secondly,this paper demonstrates the important role of programme management office in programme management,shows the relation between the four main functions of coordination,control,support and appraisal,and the success of programme management.
