基于负载波动预测的虚拟机自主迁移启发式方法
HEURISTIC METHOD OF INDEPENDENT VIRTUAL MACHINE MIGRATION BASED ON LOAD FLUCTUATION FORECASTING
【摘要】 成熟的虚拟化技术使云计算软件架构可以灵活、高效、充分地管理和利用硬件资源。虚拟机迁移是实现动态资源管理的关键技术,也是保障云计算平台负载均衡和高可用的重要前提。提出一种基于虚拟机负载波动预测的启发式迁移方法。通过分析虚拟机负载波动平衡情况,设计启发式方法预测虚拟机的负载点和负载波浪的转势时间。实验数据表明,该方法有较强的自适应性,可有效改善虚拟机自主迁移的效率,达到辅助迁移虚拟机的目的。
【Abstract】 Mature virtualisation technology makes the cloud computing software architecture be able to manage and use hardware resources flexibly,efficiently and sufficiently. The migration of virtual machine is the key technology to realise dynamic resource management,as well as the important prerequisite for guaranteeing the load balancing and high availability of cloud computing platform. We present a heuristic migrationmethod which is based on virtual machine load fluctuations prediction. By analysing the fluctuations and balance situation of virtual machine load,we design a heuristic method to predict the load point of virtual machine and the turnaround time of load fluctuations. It is demonstrated through experimental data that the method is strong in adaptability,can effectively improve the efficiency of independent migrationof virtual machine,and achieves the goal of assisted virtual machine migration.
