【Abstract】 The education in modern universities is facing many difficulties.The thinking mode of the instrumental rationality has led to the fact that the "strangers",who have lost their natural being.There is the common humanity in the human beings; therefore humanistic education has always been the core of education,which implies that education of modern universities is supposed to go back to the track of the humanistic education.From classical to modern,liberal education has always taken the humanistic education as its aim so that the general education has embodied intensively the idea of liberal education in the education of modern universities.The ideal of the general education in modern universities should be committed to the enlightenment of modern subjectivity and the pursuit of life meaning.更多还原
