【Abstract】 Qingdao, the important seaport and economic center in the East of China and tourism destination for seacoast vacation tours, enjoys strong advantages in developing tourism, convention, exhibition and grand events. The city could be developed into an international maritime convention and exhibition tourism destination thanks to its strength and opportunities. The city should seek the exciting opportunity, adopt a long-term plan and avoid external risks to meet challenges of fierce competition from the nationwide convention and exhibition industry.
