【Abstract】 The addition of small amounts of limestone in Portland cement has been for more than 30 years. The limestone as a minor additional constituent in Portland cement offers economic and technical benefits to cement producers. Despite its wide acceptance in the world, the practical effects of the limestone in both cement and concrete aren’t well understood, which influenced its popularization. The experience of limestone as minor additional constituent in Portland cement over 32 years in Canada has shown the practical physical and chemical effects.更多还原
