【Abstract】 Taking the transformation of value system as the breakthrough point, we investigate the formation of concept of "Chinese Modern Architecture" in the period of transformation around 1980’s. Chinese modern architecture has formed its own unique logic in modern times. The "tradition" of Chinese modern architecture comes from three sources as below: ancient architectural tradition in China, traditions of western modern architecture, and new architectural tradition formed since modern times. We also investigate generation of concept of "Chinese style" modern architecture from three aspects: analysis of post-colonial theory, consciousness of "new" from evolution, and the third world criticism.更多还原
