【Abstract】 The narrative skill in Mo Yan’s novels is quite difficult,especially in The Thirteenth Step. It is also the most complex novel by using narrative skill. The writer uses changing narrative perspective to make the language labyrinth,which makes the novel strange and absurd,and makes it hard to read.
