【Abstract】 Original English movie has the advantages of the real,authentic language environment and the rich cultural background.It promotes the students’ intuitive understanding of the English society and culture,which can broaden the students’ horizon and cultivate their personality. This paper discusses the supplementary role of original English movie to college English listening teaching from the movie’s cultural and practical value.
