【Abstract】 The ironic discourse,as a method of communication,plays an important role in intercultural communication. Sperber and Wilson believe that the ironic discourse in nature is to respond and proposes the irony response theory accordingly. Based on this theory,this paper compares and analyzes the differences of ironic discourse use between males and females in target,expression method and pragmatic strategy in order to benefit the interdisciplinary research on intercultural communication and pragmatics.更多还原
