【Abstract】 In this paper,the approaches to layout and implementation of open source monitoring software,Nagios,in cloud computing data center to realize real-time monitoring and management of cloud computing infrastructure and virtual machine are introduced,and polling mechanism of traditional SNMP protocol is improved. Also a generating algorithm of dynamic SNMP polling time interval based on priority is proposed,and the efficiency of monitoring is improved.
