【Abstract】 Calcium played an important role in the growth and development of the fruit,which involved a lot of physiological and biochemical metabolism in fruit growth. With the discovery and in-depth study of calmodulin,the calcium was not only essential macronutrients,but a second messenger which involved in the whole process of fruit metabolism and development. At the same time,calcium played an important function in the formation of fruit quality. From three aspects of the distribution of calcium and its role in the fruit cells, physiological and biochemical effects of calcium on fruit and the impact of calcium on fruit quality,the role of calcium in fruit growth and development was summarized.更多还原
