【Abstract】 The goal of higher education is to train high-quality graduates.Currently college English teaching is focused on traditional teaching strategies that limits the personality development of students and their improvement of comprehensive English ability.In this paper,a comprehensive exposition of a new connotation of college English teaching under the perspective of social constructivism is explored. Furthermore,it is advocated that college English teaching should adhere to carry out quality education, innovate teaching mode,and always put students in the first priority.Independent learning and inquiry learning are two main study modes that college students are supposed to be engaged in during their college English study.更多还原
