【Abstract】 Deng Xiaoping is a master of dialectics who gained a visionary insight into the world,grasped the world by a grand design,and affected the world with foresight and sagacity. He repeatedly elaborated peace and development have become the two major issues in the contemporary world,recognizing this is a marvelous opportunity for socialist China that it must seize and take advantage of it. Deng drew nutrients from the fruits of the civilization of mankind to change and develop China. In this process,the theory and practice in which he pioneered to build a socialism with Chinese characteristics bring welfare to the Chinese people,but they are also conducive to the progress of human society.
