α,ω-双醛功能化遥爪聚苯乙烯的合成及表征

【摘要】 采用原子转移自由基聚合(ATRP)制备了α,ω-双溴功能化的聚苯乙烯,然后通过叠氮化、点击化学反应得到了α,ω-双醛功能化遥爪聚苯乙烯。作为对比,也采用一步法,即通过双溴聚苯乙烯末端Br与对羟基苯甲醛的亲核取代反应合成了双醛聚苯乙烯。通过叠氮化、点击化学两步反应合成分子量为2480g·mol-1的双醛聚苯乙烯,其末端醛基功能化率可达79%,与一步法相比,功能化率提高了54%。并且发现低分子量聚合物有利于末端功能化率的提高。

【Abstract】 α,ω-dibromo-terminated polystyrenes were prepared by atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP).Then, the azidation and "click"chemistry reaction were carried out to convertα,ω-dibromo-terminated polystyrenes toα,ω-dialdehyde-terminated telechelic polystyrenes.For comparison,the dialdehyde polystyrene was also prepared by one-step, in which the terminal bromines of the dibromo-terminated polystyrene were directly substituted by p-hydroxy benzaldehyde.The terminal aldehyde functionality of the dialdehyde polystyrene(Mn,NMR=2480g·mol-1)prepared by the azidation and"click"chemistry reaction could reach 79%,which was 54%higher than the one-step method’s.Experimental results also showed that polymers with low-molecular weights were easier to obtain high functionalities than the ones with high molecular weights.
