【Abstract】 The research and application of alternating electromagnetic field method has developed rapidly since the 1950s.This method,containing dozens of techniques,has become a main technique in geo-electromagnetic method and electromagnetic geophysics.The physical basis of this method is electromagnetic induction which belongs to the diffusion field.This method has been applied to the oil and gas,metal and nonmetal,ground water and geothermal exploration,engineering detection,environmental and earthquake disasters monitoring.This paper will introduce the electromagnetic geophysics and its characteristics,then outline the recent progress and trend of the application to the land,sea floor,air and earthquake monitoring更多还原
