Effects of cassava dregs fermentation on fattening pigs
【Abstract】 60 healthy DLY crossbred pigs with an initial body weight of about 83 kg were randomly dividedin to 4 groups of control and trial 1, 2, 3, 5 replicates for each group, each repeat of three pigs. The control group was fed routine diet; the trial 1,2,3 was fed on the compound diet adding with 17.9%, 35.8%, 53.7% fresh cassava dregs fermentation(equal to the compound diet with 5%, 10%, 15% air-dry cassava dregs fermentation).Base on air-dry, except crude fiber level are different, the nutritional indexes of all diets are approach. The purpose of the experiment is to study the effect of different doses of cassava dregs fermentation on production performance, economic benefit of fattening pigs. The results show that:1production performance:Production performant(the daily weight gain, daily feed intake and feed gain ratio)were not significant different(P>0.05) between control and trial group 1,2, but production performance were significantly difference(P<0.05) between control and trial group 3. The daily weight gain and the feed utilization efficiency were decreased by 268.6 g/d and 10.29% in the trial group 3. 2economic benefit: Compared with the control group, the feed cost per kilogram weight gain of trial group 1,2 save 0.9, 0.7 Yuan, and the feed cost per kilogram weight gain of trial group 3 is same. Combining with production performance and economic benefit, from the use of waste, environmental protection point of view, but has no influence on the production performance of pigs case, finishing pig diet can use less than 35.8% of fresh cassava dregs fermentation.
