【Abstract】 As an important natural protein fiber,silkworm silk finds a very wide range of applications in the production and daily life of mankind.The fineness,or denier,of a silkworm cocoon is an important quality of a silkworm variety,and an important standard for the evaluation of cocoon quality.So far,many researches have largely focused on the differences associated with the size of cocoon filament in various silkworm strains or between females and males.Nonetheless,the researches about the gene effects of the size of cocoon filament,the formation mechanism and other areas of the frontier foundation are quite inadequate and should be improved and strengthened.更多还原
