Objective: To investigate the MRI findings and differential diagnosis of the subcutaneous prepatellar bursitis(SPB). Methods: A retrospective analysis of 0.35 T MRI data of 28 cases with the SPB confirmed clinically. Results: 27 patients had a history of acute or chronic knee injury, 1 patients with ankylosing spondylitis. All were with painless swelling of anterior knee.
