【Abstract】 Based on the summary of urban non-motorized travel concepts and properties,this article throws light on dilemmas of urban non-motorized travel including the erroneous understanding,utilitarian solution ideas,lack of management in urban development planning as well as technology and policy plights; In the end,two principles are put forward to develop the urban non-motorized travel.One is that we must adhere to the principles of both fairness and efficiency,and the other is the principle sustainable development. We must insist on making people-oriented planning of urban non-motorized travel,building a sound traffic network,breaking the tradition mode of functional areas in urban planning and promoting the development of urban public bicycle system.更多还原
