【Abstract】 According to the requirements of the mechanical seal on the sealing materials,The properties of silicon carbide in the different sintering,include mechanical properties,corrosion resistance and tribological properties were reviewed. Since the silicon carbide has excellent performance as a sealing material,it can be widely used in high-pressure,high speed,high temperature,corrosive medium,dry friction and containing the solid particles on the operation conditions,and becomes ideal choice of the mechanical seal material.更多还原
