【Abstract】 Synthesis and applications of bolaform surfactants were presented,with their unique structure and performance demonstrated. Detailed methods for preparation of cationic,anionic,zwitterionic and nonionic bolaform surfactants were described. Meanwhile,their uses in the construction of ion channel,gene transfection,and preparation of nano materials and so on were summarized.
