【Abstract】 The idiom is the essence of language and the crystallization of human wisdom and culture. The beautiful typical image of idiom is the basis and essence of its meaning. Russian and English belong to the same Indo-European,but different language groups. English and Russian idioms also contain a large number of animal images.
