【Abstract】 One of the major issues in the field of Second Language Acquisition is the role of language learners’ first language in the acquisition of a second language,which SLA literature has shown extensive research on.Recently,researchers have begun testing the hypothesis that the second language influences the first or what sometimes is called "reverse" or "backward" transfer.This paper focuses on the following issues:the situation in backward transfer study at home and abroad;the theoretical bases of and approaches to backward transfer;the prospect of the studies of backward transfer in the future.更多还原
