Taking the Zhenkang County which is the typical border county for example,status of animal epidemic monitoring in border regions was summarized,the existing problems and the insufficiency of animal disease monitoring were deeply investigated.The causes of the problems were analyzed.Combined with the severity current of the major animal disease prevention and control work in the border area,countermeasures were put forward so as to provide the reference for the animal epidemic monitoring in border regions.
