【Abstract】 Rosmarinic acid is a naturally occurring water-soluble polyphenol compound commonly distributed in species of Boraginaceae and the subfamily Nepetoideae of Lamiaceae.It possesses a number of interesting biological activities,such as.anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,anti-bacterial,immunoregulatory and mesangial cell proliferation-inhibitory effects.As kinds of new biological effects having been discovered,rosmarinic acid has become a potential hot in pharmaceutical industry.Consequently,its isolation and purification had also attracted us.In order to offer more information for utilization of rosmarinic acid effectively,a brief review was given on the new progresses in the research of its isolation,purification,biological activities and industrial applications.更多还原
