【Abstract】 The explosion of globalization and the emergence of knowledge-based economy have caused economic issues in Malaysia. The country necessitates a new approach to propel the economy into the next level of high growth. One of the strategies is to ensure skilled and quality human resources that meet the global market needs. In line with this, the country reforms its vocational education and training by improving the image of vocational education, as well as by reconstructing the secondary vocational education system. Malaysia integrates the existing vocational education and training systems, establishes and implements national occupational skills standard, develops highly-efficient instructors, as well as expands national dual training system.更多还原
