超短回波磁共振成像与骨质量检测
Ultrashort Echo Time MRI And Bone Quality Evaluation
【摘要】 骨皮质质量评价对骨病的诊疗有重要意义。目前常见的评价手段包括:X射线平片检查法、单光子及双光子吸收法、双能X线吸收法、定量CT法及定量超声法等.其中双能X线吸收法是当前临床诊断的金标准,但此方法的主要缺点是只能得到骨矿物质密度(BMD),不能得到骨的胶原蛋白、孔隙度、灌注情况及水含量等信息,这些信息对全面评价骨质量有重要价值。由于骨的磁共振信号衰减极快,所以常规磁共振成像方法不能得到骨皮质图像。近年出现的超短回波方法可以快速采集磁共振信号,将这一技术应用于骨成像可以综合评价骨皮质质量。本文首先介绍目前常用的骨质量评价方法,并对超短回波磁共振成像方法在骨皮质评价中的研究现状进行综述。
【Abstract】 The evaluation of bone quality is very important in the diagnoses and treatment of the bone diseases.Current evaluation methods include X-ray absorption,single photon absorptiometry,dual photon absorptiometry,Dual energy X-ray absorptiometry,Quantitative CT,and Quantitative ultrasound.The dual energy X-ray absorptiometry is the current gold standard in clinical applications.The limitation of above methods is the results,bone mineral density(BMD),cannot evaluate the organic matrix,microstructure,porosity and perfusion of bone,which make an important contribution to the fully evaluation of bone quality.Bone shows near zero signals with all conventional clinical MRI sequences,due to the rapid decay of the MR signal from within it.Recently proposed ultrashort echo time(UTE) MRI method may acquire MR signal quickly.This method provides a new way to assess the quality of bone.In this paper,the features and limitations of current bone evaluation methods are summarized at first,then the research progress of qualitative and quantitative UTE MRI of bone are reviewed.
