【Abstract】 The thesis applies eco-translatology to Hu Yunhuan’s and Yao Naiqiang’s Chinese versions of The Scarlet Letter. Start from the translation process and focus on language,culture and communication these three dimensions. Comparatively studies on translating about the rich religion cultural factors of the source language from these two Chinese versions. It is found that,the translation ecological environment impact translators’behaviors; the target test that adapts to more multiple dimensions means its adaptation and selection are high,the integration of adaptation options of the target text are also high; the eco-translatology is applicable to such literary classics in translation studies.更多还原
