The process of reading is an interactive process between the writer and readers. However, some traditional teaching of English reading fail to attach importance to the interactive process. And the teaching cannot have a good efficiency. In this paper, the enthymeme is applied in the teaching of English reading and it can provide a new perspective for the teaching of English reading.
