【Abstract】 Modern Criticism was a very influential coterie press,founded by the professors of Peking University in 1920 s.To broaden people’s vision that time,they attached much importance to the international news.From the standpoint of anti-aggression,they studied the way which foreign press gained success.They spread the principle of freedom,fighting against the despotism of the governor.They stressed the duty of the press,calling for resisting the vulgar and dirty news.Modern Criticism took over and developed the ideal of the New Culture Movement.更多还原
