FeSO4·7H2O粉末在炭布上原位催化生长多壁碳纳米管
Catalytic growth of multi-wall carbon nanotubes on carbon cloth using powdery ferrous sulfate heptahydrate as catalyst precursor
【摘要】 在1100~1200℃温度范围内,于炭纤维布上原位合成多壁碳纳米管。采用扫描电镜、透射电镜、拉曼光谱等手段对样品进行表征。结果表明,所制碳纳米管为多壁管,管端可见小球,生成物呈列线生长,生长方向基本垂直于基底,管壁少有杂质和缺陷,结晶度较高。反应温度、反应时间对产物的结构与形态均有一定影响。原位生成碳纳米管的数量和形态与基底的大小、形状有关,可通过调节反应温度和反应时间加以控制。
【Abstract】 Multi-wall carbon nanotubes( MWCNTs) were synthesized on carbon fiber cloth by chemical vapor deposition using natural gas as the carbon source and FeSO 4 ·7H 2 O pow der as the catalyst precursor.Scanning and transmission electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy w ere used to characterize the product.Small catalyst particles w ere observed on the top of the tubes.The MWCNTs w ere dispersed uniformly and aligned perpendicular to the cloth.They had a high crystallinity,and few impurities and defects.The density and structure of the MWCNTs on the cloth can be controlled by deposition temperature and time.
