溶剂聚合法制备粉末状聚丙烯酸增稠剂

【摘要】 以丙烯酸和季戊四醇三烯丙基醚为原料,过氧化十二酰为引发剂,在乙酸乙酯溶剂中制备了粉末状聚丙烯酸增稠剂。研究了交联剂和引发剂用量、反应时间对产物水溶液的黏度和透光率的影响,并采用红外光谱、激光粒度仪、扫描电镜等对产品进行了表征。结果表明:聚丙烯酸增稠剂的最佳合成条件为:季戊四醇三烯丙基醚用量为丙烯酸单体质量的1.0%,引发剂用量为丙烯酸单体质量的0.8%时,在73~76℃的温度下反应4 h。粉末状聚丙烯酸增稠剂的粒径分布在1~100μm范围内,在水溶液中粒径小于200 nm。

【Abstract】 Powder polyacrylic thickener is prepared with lauroyl peroxide as initiator,acrylic acid and pentaerythritol triallyl ether as raw materials. The effects of the cross-linker and initiator concentrations,reaction time on the viscosity and light transmittance of polyacrylic acid thickener are studied. The product is characterized by FT-IR,Laser Particle Size Analyzer and TEM. The results show that the thickener solution with higher transmittance is prepared,when the cross-linker is 1% and initiator is 0. 8% based on total mass of monomers,and the reaction time is 4 hours at73- 76℃. The particle size distribution of powdere polyacrylic thickener is in the range from 1μm to 100 μm. The size of the product in water is smaller than 200 nm.
