【Abstract】 Yi is one of the minority nationalities residing in the southwest of China and has long history and culture. Owing to the historic, geographic and social factors, there are more traditional and local characteristics in Yi’ s culture in Liangshan district. Because of the same reasons, Liangshan and Yi in Liangshan remain mysterious to the outside world, and people in other parts of the world have less recognition and understanding of them.
