【摘要】 唐高武时期马政衰落的原因,前人或归之于典掌非人,或归之于内附突厥的叛变。其实,高武时期严重的边患才是最主要的原因。此时期牧地西南的吐蕃强大起来,北边的突厥死灰复燃,对河陇朔方有唐监牧地形成钳形合围攻击之势;频频进犯,杀掠人畜,监牧正常生产秩序完全被破坏。与此同时,唐与周边其他游牧民族的矛盾亦全面爆发,且屡败屡战,这又进一步加剧了马匹的过度消耗。再加上因边患而导致外部马匹输入的基本终止,高武时期马政的衰落也就势所难免了。更多还原

【Abstract】 The reasons of the horse administration decline in Tang Gaozong and Wu Ze- tian’ s Period,predecessors either attributed to the incompetent administrator or to the Turkic rebelling to Tong’s authority. It was a long- term serious trouble of the frontier border during the period that was the major reason.During this period,the Tibetan pasturing in southwest resurged,and the Turkic attacked again from the north,which formed clamp encirclement to the pasture,which Tang supervised,at Helong and Shuofang. People were killed and horses were robbed in their frequent attack,so that routine production order was completely compromised. At the same time,the conflicts between Tang and other neighboring nomads were getting into worse,but Tang was defeated in a series of battles,leading to the excessive consumption of war horses. Furthermore,horse importation almost terminated due to chaos at Tang’ s frontier. The horse administration declined in the period was inevitable.更多还原
