【Abstract】 Now available industrial processes for the manufacture of natural and synthetic fatty alcohols were reviewed and a new way for the synthesis of fatty alcohols was introduced,which was the modified Fischer-Tropsch synthesis. Three examples for solvent phase Fischer-Tropsch synthesis modification were thoroughly demonstrated—aqueous phase Fischer-Tropsch synthesis,FischerTropsch synthesis modified by adding anion additives and ethylene glycol phase Fischer-Tropsch synthesis,and the application prospects of these methods in the synthesis of fatty alcohols were investigated.更多还原
