食蟹猴在登革热及其疫苗研究中的应用进展
Progresses on Application of Cynomolgus Macaques in Researches of Dengue Fever and Dengue Vaccine
【摘要】 登革热是由登革病毒引起、伊蚊传播的一种严重传染性疾病,广泛流行于全球热带和亚热带地区,人感染后会突发高热、严重头痛、肌肉和关节痛以及出疹,有时伴发登革出血热等致命并发症。食蟹猴是登革热病毒的自然宿主,且又是生物医学研究最重要的实验动物之一,因此,探索食蟹猴在登革热病研究中的应用可以很好地促进对登革热发病机制的认识及登革热疫苗研发与治疗方法的研究。本文简要介绍食蟹猴在登革热研究中的应用和最新研究进展,为登革热动物模型的研究提供更多参考。
【Abstract】 Dengue fever is an infectious tropical disease caused by the dengue virus and transmitted by Aedes. Symptoms include fever, headache, muscle and joint pains, and a characteristic skin rash. In some cases, the disease develops into the life-threatening dengue hemorrhagic fever. Cynomolgus macaques is one of the natural host for dengue virus, and then they have been the most important and ideal experimental animal. This elicits that studying on Cynomolgus macaques in dengue fever research can promote understanding of dengue fever’s pathogenesis and development of dengue fever vaccine research. In this paper, recent progresses and their applications in vaccine in this field are briefly reviewed.
