【Abstract】 By using multivariate statistical analysis of performance of 985 project universities, the result of factor analysis showed that research universities performance indicators can be divided into three dimensions, internal and foundation, growth and development, stakeholder; the result of cluster analysis of performance, 985 project universities performance have four categories.
