【Abstract】 In order to improve product quality and meet user requirements, a series of technology optimization and improvement measures were adopted. These measures include optimizing the heating process, applying high pressure water descaling technology and the measure of improving the packing quality, such as changing the cold cut, adding cold saw, improving cold cut groove,optimizing the length of the product and using automatic bundling machine. After the improvements, the mechanical properties and surface quality of the product were improved, round steel yield was increased from 96.6% to 97%, increasing the market competitiveness of products, can producing many kinds of high grade steel products.
