掺钼铌酸锂晶体的光折变性能研究

【摘要】 生长了掺入不同浓度六价钼元素的铌酸锂晶体(LN∶Mo),并研究了它们在351 nm、488 nm、532 nm和671 nm处的光折变性能。实验结果表明0.5mol%为最佳掺杂量,此时LN∶Mo在各波段具有最快的响应速度和较好的饱和衍射效率。增加极化电流可以提高光折变性能,尤其当极化电流为145 mA时,掺杂量为0.5mol%的LN∶Mo晶体紫外光折变响应时间缩短至0.35 s。这些优异的全息存储性能归因于Mo6+占据了正常的Nb位。LN∶Mo晶体是实现全色全息存储的潜力材料。

【Abstract】 Molybdenum doped lithium niobate crystals(LN∶ Mo) were grown under different polarization conditions and the photorefractive properties were investigated at 351 nm,488 nm,532 nm and 671 nm.The experimental results showed that 0.5mol% is the best doping level as LN ∶ Mo0.5 always has the shortest response time and good saturation diffraction efficiency at each wavelength.Moreover,the photorefraction performances of LN∶ Mo0.5 crystals can be improved by enhancing the polarization current.Especially the response time of LN∶ Mo0.5 could be shortened to as small as 0.35 s when polarized under the current of 145 mA.These features could be attributed to Mo6+ occupying regular Nb sites.Molybdenum doped lithium niobate thus is a promising candidate for all-color holographic storage applications.
