【Abstract】 To worry about the fate of Russian people and Russia’s future is an important feature of writing of I. S. Shmelyov. The writer attempted to explore possible ways for resolving the social contradictions and eliminating the conflicts of morality and spirituality. In his works Shmelyov’s has summarized his thoughts of the human society,his observation and contemplation of Russia,the Russian people and their significance and role on the earth. The titles of Shmelyov’s works contain deep meanings and play organic,focused role in them. By analyzing the titles of the writer’s stories such as The Inexhaustible Cup,The Sun of the Dead,The Summer of the Lord,The heavenly Ways,this article attempts to reveal their inner semantics.更多还原
