【Abstract】 Ever since the advent of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,Harry Potter series of novels has been widely favored by readers.There are lots of new words in it.These new words and their translations provide challenges for researchers to make it plain and loyal to the original one and able to reproduce artistic conception of the word.The paper discussed domestication and foreignization in translation of proper names of Harry Potter series from the perspective of teleology.更多还原
