乳化植物甾醇对雄性日本鹌鹑生长性能及相关激素水平的影响

【摘要】 为研究乳化植物甾醇对雄性日本鹌鹑(Coturnix coturnix japonica)生产性能、胰岛素样生长因子1(IGF-1)和肾上腺皮质酮水平的影响,将100只体质量为(70±4)g的26日龄雄性日本鹌鹑分为4组,每组5个重复,每只鹌鹑每天灌喂含0、0.1、0.2和0.4 mg.mL-1植物甾醇的乳化液0.2 mL。21 d后,采食量、体质量增加和饲料转化率均无显著变化(P>0.05),但饲料转化率随植物甾醇灌喂量的提高呈下降趋势。植物甾醇乳化液均显著提高了鹌鹑血清中的IGF-1含量(P<0.05),但不影响皮质酮水平(P>0.05),血清丙二醛(MDA)含量也无显著变化(P>0.05)。0.04和0.08 mg.d-1植物甾醇显著降低了血清总胆固醇(TC)和低密度脂蛋白胆固醇(LDL-C)水平(P<0.05)。结果提示:植物甾醇能显著上调雄性日本鹌鹑IGF-1水平从而对其生产性能产生潜在影响。

【Abstract】 This experiment studied the effect of emulsified phytosterol on the growth performance,serum concentrations of IGF-1 and corticosterone in male Japanese quails(Coturnix coturnix japonica).A total of 100 male quails was selected and assigned into four treatments,and then randomly housed in groups with five replicate per cage.The quails were fed with non-soybean diets.An emulsified phytosterol solution was applied in four treatments by oral gavage at 0.2 mL of 0,0.1,0.2 and 0.4 mg·mL-1 from 26 d of age,respectively.Over the 21 d gavage trial,the performance including feed intake,body weight gain and the feed conversion ratio(FCR)of phytosterol treatments showed no significant changes compared with the control(P>0.05).However,the FCR exhibited an upward trend along with the phytosterol concentrations.Accordingly,all phytosterol gavage treatments elevated the serum IGF-1 levels(P<0.05),but the corticosterone levels were not changed(P>0.05).In addition,serum concentrations of malondialdehyde(MDA)were not changed(P>0.05).Furthermore,the serum levels of total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein-cholesterol(LDL-C)decreased in both 0.04 and 0.08 mg·d-1 treatments(P<0.05).Our experiment implied that the emulsified phytosterol might imprvoe the growth performance through significantly up-regulating IGF-1 in the male Japanese quail.
