【Abstract】 This paper summarizes the design theory of sports leisure clubs in hot-humid climate and hilly landscape of the Lingnan region. The striking characteristics can be summarized as design strategy appropriate to function, adaptative strategy to local climate, design as a reaction to the topography. The paper also introduces the design practice on the tennis-badminton center club at the Science City in Guangzhou in terms of overall planning, architectural design and landscape design. Finally, the paper argues that these principles are at the basis of the new Lingnan architecture.更多还原
