Beta-glucan contents of 195 hull-less barley genotypes with different origins were determined using a mixed-linkage assay.The mean content of all genotypes was 5.10%,ranging from 3.03%~7.16%.Among them there were 21 genotypes with beta-glucan content higher than 6%,and 15 genotypes lower than 4%,and they could be used in breeding for food and beer varieties,respectively.The beta-glucan content of 18 cultivars developed in Qinghai ranged from 3.68%~6.48%,with Kunlun 2 and Kunlun 10 being 6.23% and 6.49%,and ...
