Constructed wetland as a new sewage treatment technology not only has low investment and operation cost, but also beautifies the landscape effect by selecting appropriate plants. In this article, running mechanism, classification and relevant application examples of artificial wetlands were introduced. Various factors affecting the operation of artificial wetland system were analyzed, how to coordinate the factors to improve efficiency was put forward as well as how to improve the artificial wetland.
