【Abstract】 The lack of water resources in the arid inland river basins in northwestern China restricts the economic and social development.Urbanization is an important part of achieving sustainable development.The efficient and reasonable utilization of water resources and the healthy and orderly development of urbanization are,therefore,the key factors affecting sustainable development in this region.This paper has analyzed the coupling mechanism exiting between urbanization and the water resource environmental system,the coupling strength at different developmental stages,and the evolution mechanism of the basins’ urbanization as time advances and space changes.更多还原
